Application and Timing
Students can apply to the board from the fund page. The article says the group hears roughly 20 pitches a year. A founder application deadline is not printed on the fund page.
Participants
DU students join the investment group. The fund page says it invests in early-stage startups with a Rocky Mountain focus, so founders who pitch are not limited to DU students on the pages reviewed.
Funding and Equity
The fund page does not publish check size. An October 16, 2025 Daniels article says PVG writes $10,000–$25,000 equity checks and that annual investing is about $20,000–$40,000, from alumni and community donations. The same article says PVG invested $25,000 in Wave Bye in March 2025. Those figures are from the article, not the fund homepage.
