    Application and Timing

Applications are accepted September 1 through May 1 of each academic year. Students start by emailing the public entrepreneurship mailbox for a readiness assessment.

    Participants

Full-time University of Denver students. The program page does not limit eligibility to business majors. A readiness review looks for customer conversations, which the page describes as 15–20 potential customers, before a Qualtrics application.

    Funding and Equity

The program page says one-time microgrants of up to $2,000, in three phases: Validation, Creation, and Activation. The hub page captured the same day says “new $1,000 microgrants.” A 2021 article also said $1,000. funding_max follows the dedicated program page. The pages do not say the grant takes equity.

    Recent Activity

Both the program page and the hub page were live on 2026-10-08, with the conflicting dollar figures still published.

    Known Startups or Winners

The captured program page did not list recipient names. The hub names ventures that received Entrepreneurship@DU support without tying them to this grant.

    Verification Gaps

The $1,000 hub figure and the $2,000 program-page figure are both official and unresolved. Equity is not discussed. Recipient names are not on the program page.
