Ready, Set, Launch: Social Enterprise Pitch Competition
The Social Enterprise Pitch Competition is organized by the Howard University & PNC Mid-South Regional Center for Entrepreneurship at Morgan State University. It is the culminating event for the Ready, Set, Launch bootcamp, a 5-day/5-week virtual program designed for individuals with less than three years of experience creating or scaling nonprofit and social enterprise initiatives.
The bootcamp provides training sessions, a certificate of completion, and mentorship with Dr. Rasheda L. Weaver, author of Social Entrepreneurship: A Practical Introduction. Selected participants pitch their ventures for a share of the $5,000 prize pool.
The competition was held on May 1, 2026 at the Graves School of Business & Management Auditorium.
