Entrepreneurial Development and Assistance Center
The Entrepreneurial Development & Assistance Center (EDAC) provides community-facing entrepreneurial support under the Office of the Provost at Morgan State University. With 20+ years of experience, EDAC has served 1,233 entrepreneurs and 373 students, earning 16 Nunn Perry Awards.
EDAC offers multiple programs:
- Blackstone LaunchPad — Entrepreneurship platform connecting students to a global network of mentors, events, and funding
- WOMEN (Women Owned & Managed Enterprise Network) — Resources for women entrepreneurs
- RIDE (Returning Citizens Inspired to Develop Entrepreneurial Ventures) — Empowers formerly incarcerated individuals to start businesses
- Title III — Supports academic program development
EDAC partners with HBCU.FI, IBM, and the Title III program. Services include podcasts, blog, calendar of events, and 24/7 access to business tools and resources.
