The Wayne B. Duddlesten Free Enterprise Institute expands entrepreneurship training and resources to all University of Houston students, operating in association with the [[programs/uh-wolff-center]]. Established by a $5 million gift from the Wayne Duddlesten Foundation (announced October 2023, launched 2024), the institute provides mentorship matching, website-building resources, legal services, and tools to support founders from concept to market across all campus majors.

Dean Paul A. Pavlou described the mission as empowering imaginative thinkers "from idea to market" with support from concept through incubation to successful launch. Executive Director Dave Cook cited creating synergy across campus entrepreneurship beyond Bauer's traditional WCE cohort model.
