The Patriot Pitch Competition is George Mason University's flagship annual pitch competition, organized by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Costello College of Business. In 2026, the competition offered a total prize pool of $60,000.
The competition features four tracks: Innovative Ideas (idea-stage, experiential learning), Social Impact (social enterprise ventures), Future Founders (aspiring entrepreneurs), and Early-Stage Ventures (early-stage startups with less than $50K raised and $100K annual revenue).
Open to all Mason students and recent alumni (up to five years post-graduation). Semifinalists receive mentoring and entrepreneurship training. The final pitch event takes place at the HUB Ballroom on the Fairfax Campus.
