The Mason Innovation Exchange (MIX) is George Mason University's innovation hub, combining a makerspace, media lab, and startup incubator in Horizon Hall on the Fairfax Campus. The MIX Incubator provides students, faculty, and staff with dedicated workspace, mentors-in-residence, conference rooms for client presentations and pitch practice, and proximity to prototyping and branding facilities.
Access requires completion of the MIX Student Innovators Launchpad Short Course. The MIX also hosts I-Corps at Mason, pitch competitions, and the Accelerate Student Competition.
