The RED Labs partnership connects Rice's OwlSpark accelerator with the University of Houston's RED Labs through jointly run summer programming and the annual Bayou Startup Showcase at The Ion Houston. This cross-university collaboration brings together Rice and UH founders for a community-wide demo day drawing 500+ entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors.
