Lilie is the central hub for experiential learning and co-curricular entrepreneurship at Rice University. Founded in 2015 through a $16.5M gift from the Liu Family Foundation, Lilie equips students with entrepreneurial skills and mindset across all industries. Led by Yael Hochberg, Lilie administers the entrepreneurship minor, Summer Venture Studio, Napier Rice Launch Challenge, and Innovation Fellows program from its campus lab at 130 Cambridge Office Building. Lilie celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025–26.
