Ideation Studio, run with RISE-UP and URI Innovations, is offered in fall, spring, and summer for faculty, staff, students, and community teams. Teams build a business model canvas, interview customers, and make a minimum viable product. Fall and spring are a weekly class. Summer 2026 was a two-week pre-accelerator. URI Innovations news says the summer cohort's pitch night was set for September 16, 2026 at 6 p.m. in Chafee Hall, with three implementation grants. The program returns in fall 2026 and spring 2027.
