RIT Venture Creations Incubator (VCI) is a business incubator founded in 2003, located at 40 Franklin Street in downtown Rochester. Provides hands-on coaching, office space, RIT resource access, investor connections, and community networking for early- to mid-seed stage startups. Reports through RIT's Vice President for Research. Part of the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Since inception: 54+ companies graduated, ~$500M in total capital raised, 13 acquisitions, 85% regional retention, 20+ current resident and non-resident companies.

Funding and Equity
No direct investment from the incubator. Coaching, space, resource access. The RIT Venture Fund provides equity investment to select RIT-affiliated startups (confirmed investment in BiRed Imaging). No equity taken for incubation services.
