University-level coordinating hub established November 2024 to consolidate RIT's entrepreneurship and innovation activities. Encompasses the Simone Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Center for Urban Entrepreneurship, Venture Creations incubator, and the Intellectual Property Management Office. Led by Johan Klarin, assistant vice president and managing director (formerly Venture Creations director). Housed in Student Innovation Hall.
The OEI centralizes previously distributed entrepreneurship resources under one structure to support founders from ideation through launch, growth, and exits.
