About the program · 1 linked sources
InnoVention is the annual startup competition run by nyu-tandon-future-labs. NYU’s June 2, 2025 account calls it part competition and part accelerator: selected teams do four months of workshops and coaching, then pitch for a $25,000 prize. Vadim Gordin is named director of the Tandon Future Labs A/X Venture Studio and the school’s entrepreneurship competition coordinator. This listing is compiled from public NYU pages and is not a school-claimed profile.

Application and Timing
The 2025 finals were on May 9, 2025, with the results article posted June 2, 2025. A 2026 deadline was not on the captured pages.
Participants
The NYU Entrepreneurship funding page lists graduate students, undergraduates, and PhD or postdoctoral researchers. The 2025 finals page says twelve teams came from Tandon, Stern, ITP, and CAS. The 2025 winner team included a Tandon master’s student and a Courant master’s student. Audience Favorite went to a Tandon undergraduate.
Funding and Equity
The 2025 article and the finals page both say the prize is $25,000, for the most commercially viable, scalable, and innovative idea. They do not say the prize takes equity. The article also says Vitalis received a separate YOPE x NYU Founder Award with $100,000. That figure is not recorded as the InnoVention prize.
