IDEA is Northeastern University's student-led venture accelerator, founded 2009 at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business. Located at IDEA Lab, 001 Hayden Hall, Boston. Three-stage Ready/Set/Go process provides customer validation, business model development, and launch support. Up to $30K in non-equity GAP Fund funding per venture in the Go stage. Student-run with CEO, COO, and 7 functional teams (Venture, Analytics, Marketing, Operations, Investments, Strategy & Innovation). 12 Venture Advisors covering fundraising, product management, marketing, AI, and legal. 2,800+ ventures supported, $833M+ raised, $2.8M+ GAP Fund awarded. Monthly orientations open to students, alumni, and faculty across all disciplines.
