The MIT Venture Mentoring Service (VMS) provides free, confidential team mentoring for MIT-affiliated entrepreneurs. Founded 2000 by Alec Dingee and Dave Staelin. Nearly 200 volunteer mentors. 4,400+ entrepreneurs mentored since inception. Located at MIT InnovationHQ (Building E38, 6th Floor), 292 Main St, Cambridge. Partners with NSF I-Corps at MIT. Outreach Training Program has trained 120+ organizations worldwide on the MIT VMS model. Serves MIT students, faculty, staff, post docs, and alumni in the Boston area.
