The Miller School of Entrepreneurship is ECU's central entrepreneurship academic school, established in 2015 as the first named school of entrepreneurship in North Carolina through a $5M gift from J. Fielding Miller and Kim Grice Miller. Ranked #29 nationally for undergraduate entrepreneurship by Princeton Review/Entrepreneur (2026). Offers BS in Entrepreneurship (120 hrs, competitive admission) and Entrepreneurship Certificate. Located in the Isley Innovation Hub, 160 Wright Building. Led by Director Dr. Joshua Aaron. Administers the Gene T. Aman Pirate Challenge and houses the Crisp Small Business Resource Center, EIR program, and CEO student organization.
