Directed by Sandeep Purao (Trustee Professor of CIS). Established through a $1M gift from Steve '08 and Samantha Somers. Offers initiatives (Incubator, student-owned businesses, coaching sessions, curated visits, speaker series, pitches & popcorn), resources (Somers Garage, CIC workspace, Collins Creative Corner, knowledge base, MIT Orbit platform), courses, and community (alumni mentor network, faculty mentor network, entrepreneurs-in-residence). Impact: $117K seed funds disbursed, $35K+ activities supported, 65+ speakers/coaching sessions, 1,200+ students attending events.

E-Hub Incubator Program

Phase 1 pitch for $1,000 seed funding (~10 teams). Phase 2 pitch for $3,000 (~4 teams). Phase 3 pitch for $10,000 (~2 teams). 2025-26 cohort: 31 teams at kick-off, 17 advanced to Phase 1 ($1K each), 9 to Phase 2 ($3K each), 8 pitched Phase 3. Winner: Student Spots ($10K) by Jack Blumsack and Jonathan Bragg. All 8 Phase 3 teams receive CIC shared office space. Additional prizes: Hult Prize nominations, TopTal expert hours, angel investor pitch practice. Open to Bentley community members (students, faculty, staff, alumni within 5 years). Teams use MIT Orbit platform. Alumni-led training sessions available. Innovation Tracks available.
