About the program · 2 linked sources

Wilmington University news describes Launcher as West End Neighborhood House's entrepreneurial incubator, not a program WilmU operates. It is a 14-week business training program. WilmU hosts the curriculum and graduation ceremonies and provides mentorship, resources, and three academic credits for graduates. An August 20, 2025 story, updated August 4, 2026, says Launcher charges $100 and cites almost 1,200 jobs, nearly 660 businesses, and more than 1,200 entrepreneurs, with 94 percent of the businesses minority owned. A December 13, 2024 story says WilmU hosted the fall 2024 graduation on December 3, 2024, marking the 1,000th graduate, and that the program had helped create or expand nearly 500 businesses and 900 jobs in Delaware since 2017. The two stories use different outcome counts. Both are quoted. The pages do not describe a student venture fund or say that WilmU takes equity.

This listing was compiled from public university pages on October 8, 2026. It is unclaimed and has not been confirmed by the school or a program director.
