    Application and Timing

The calendar entry for the cycle opening August 24 says applications close September 18 and finals are November 6 at 5:30 p.m. in Tyrrell Hall. The year on that November 6 line is not confirmed, so it is not listed as an upcoming event. The pitch page says the inaugural competition was November 2023 and that this is the fourth annual.

    Participants

UTulsa students. The calendar entry says students compete in undergraduate and graduate divisions, five finalists each. A polished company is not required.

    Funding and Equity

Cash prizes of $7,500, $3,500, and $1,500 from Regent Bank. The page describes prizes and mentoring, not an equity investment. Workshops and pitch-deck coaching are included.

    Recent Activity

Applications for the fall cycle were posted on both the pitch page and the university calendar.

    Known Startups or Winners

The center homepage says six teams won across divisions in 2025. The captured pages do not name them. Tally Receipts is named in a 2024–25 news story as a student-led venture the center took to external contests.

    Verification Gaps

The calendar year on the August 24–November 6 entry should be confirmed against the live calendar if a later cycle has opened.
