Venture Capital Immersion Program
8-week hands-on venture capital course held at Union Hall in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine district, the hub of southwest Ohio's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Students learn the VC model, conduct due diligence on real Midwest seed and early-stage companies. Guest lecturers from angel groups, VC and PE firms. Launched 2017. Top performers compete in the Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC). Miami has finished in the Global Top 3 in 4 of the first 7 years and won their regional finals 7 consecutive years.
