The Hynes Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation is Iona University's central entrepreneurship hub, established in 2017 with a $15M gift from James '69, '01H and Anne Marie Hynes. Located in a 3,800 sq ft state-of-the-art coworking space in Spellman Hall on Iona's New Rochelle campus. Won the USASBE 2025 Model Program Award (Small Institution category). The Institute is treated as a distinct school alongside LaPenta School of Business, School of Arts & Science, and NewYork-Presbyterian Iona School of Nursing & Health Sciences.
