Participants

Open to all current Hofstra University students (any major, school, year, undergrad/graduate). Max 5 team members. Non-Hofstra students not permitted on teams. Previous winners cannot pitch again. No company required.

Non-dilutive cash prizes. Hofstra releases all IP rights. No equity taken.

Fall 2025 event held November 19 in ideaHUb. Winners: Dare Drop! (1st, $400), Cater AI (2nd, $300), Promptly (3rd, $200). Judges included Entrepreneur-in-Residence Barbara Roberts, ideaHUb Coordinator Natalia Sandor, and IIE Executive Director Dr. Richard Hayes.
