The Blavatnik Biomedical Accelerator provides gap funding, strategic advising, and industry connections for Harvard life sciences researchers. Established with $75M from the Blavatnik Family Foundation. Provides up to $400,000 per project over 24 months for translational research, proof-of-concept, and technology development. Nearly 50 projects funded; half have advanced to partnerships with biopharmaceutical companies or new startups. Also supports the Blavatnik Fellowship in Life Science Entrepreneurship at HBS.
