Recurring pitch competition open to all UConn students where audience members vote to allocate seed funding. Top 3 pitches each event receive $1,000, $750, and $500. Multiple pitch nights per semester (Fall and Spring) with an annual April Demo Day where 5 top teams compete for additional funding. Audience voting determines winners.

Application and Timing
Rolling applications reviewed throughout the academic year. Pitch nights held Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar. Annual Demo Day in April.
Participants
UConn undergraduate and graduate students of all majors. Idea-stage ventures welcome. 5-minute pitch with 3-minute Q&A.
Funding and Equity
Up to $1,000 per pitch event. No equity taken. Cannot pitch the same idea twice for additional funding (but can pitch a new idea).
