The Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship is CWRU's central hub for entrepreneurship, housed on floor 7 of Sears think[box]. Founded 2019 with a $20M endowment from the Veale Foundation. Executive Director: Michael Goldberg. Reports to CWRU Provost's Office. $105K in non-dilutive grants distributed annually. 450+ student startups helped. 375+ alumni startups in network.
Merged with CWRU LaunchNET in July 2023. Administers THINK/DO/THRIVE grants, CWRU Alumni Venture Fund, Morgenthaler-Pavey Startup Competition, Veale Entrepreneurship Lab, and Veale Snyder Fellowship.
