Baylor New Venture Competition
The Baylor New Venture Competition (NVC) is a globally ranked business plan and elevator pitch competition hosted by the baylor-baugh-center. Collegiate teams of 2–4 students from accredited not-for-profit universities worldwide compete for more than $200,000 in cash and in-kind prizes, with a $50,000 grand prize.
Competition Structure
- Round 1: Two-page executive summary (top 50 advance)
- Round 2: 10-page business plan, cap table, legal entity verification (top 10 finalists)
- On-campus finals: Mentor coaching, 10-minute presentations, business showcase, audience-voted elevator pitch
