1846 Business Incubator

The 1846 Business Incubator helps Baylor student entrepreneurs across all majors develop feasible, sustainable, and profitable early-stage ventures. Operated by the Department of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation through the baylor-baugh-center, the program provides office space, mentorship, and structured entrepreneurship education independent of course credit.

• Location: Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation, Waco, TX
• Cohort size: ~5 ventures per academic year (historical)
• Duration: Up to three-semester program toward revenue generation
• Eligibility: All Baylor majors; early-stage ventures with promising market solutions

• Organizational assessment and feasibility analysis (market, competition, industry)
• Financial, operational, and programmatic review
• Prescribed entrepreneurship education modules with deadlines
• Faculty and industry mentor network (connected by second semester)
• Office space in the incubator at Foster Campus
• Optional participation in baylor-new-venture-competition

1846 targets early-stage ventures developing feasibility and operations. baylor-osos-launch targets students already operating registered businesses with traction.
