The Laurence A. Baiada Institute for Entrepreneurship is Drexel's hub of student innovation. Integral part of the Close School of Entrepreneurship. Founded in 2001 as the Baiada Center (in LeBow College), upgraded to Institute in 2012. Named by entrepreneur Mel Baiada for his father Laurence. Provides incubation space, advising and mentoring, pitch competitions, StartupTree online platform, and the Starter's Review blog.
