Description
Fairleigh Dickinson University operates New Jersey's first university facility dedicated to entrepreneurial education through the Rothman Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (founded 1989). Home to the nationally-ranked Silberman College of Business (AACSB accredited), FDU was the only New Jersey institution named to SUCCESS magazine's Top 50 Entrepreneurial Schools. The entrepreneurship ecosystem includes the Rothman Institute as central hub, FDUPitch business idea competition (feeds UPitchNJ statewide), and the Klasko Humanics Innovation Challenge ($500K fund integrating AI and human-centered healthcare education). Strong veteran entrepreneurship programming through Veterans Launching Ventures (VLV, 842+ participants since 2010).
