About the event
The Cozad New Venture Challenge is UIUC's largest venture creation program (700K+ in prizes in 2026, $100K grand prize), run each spring by the Landuyt Center for Entrepreneurship. Registration for the 2027 cycle opens in Fall 2026, with the finals typically held in mid-April.
Who should apply: All full-time UIUC students (undergraduate or graduate). Dates below follow the program's annual cycle until the official 2027 schedule is posted.
