About the program
USF has been an NSF I-Corps site since 2016, one of the earliest in the nation and the largest in Florida. Selected for the NSF Southeast Hub in 2024 ($1.6M to USF). 380 teams served, 68 student incubator startups, 24 companies formed raising $12.5M combined. Leads Florida in national I-Corps teams (36 teams selected for the $50K national program). Offers 6-week regional bootcamps each semester. Notable outcomes include Moterum Technologies (iStride), syGlass VR, and Rubiconcrete.
