Student-led venture capital initiative founded 2021 under the Center for Entrepreneurship. $1M+ evergreen educational fund. Invests $25K SAFE notes in Pre-Seed to Seed stage companies led by UC alumni or based in Cincinnati/Midwest. Three pillars: Investment Fund (due diligence, investment decisions), Venture Research Studio (Pitchbook market research for UC startups), and VCIC competition team (competes in UNC's Venture Capital Investment Competition). Investment Committee includes local/national VCs with UC ties. Portfolio: Tembo, Band Connect, Gimbal Space, Sense Neuro Diagnostics.
