About the program
Impact X
Impact X is the New Venture Modeling course at the College of Charleston, aligned with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students form sustainability-focused startups that generate profit while solving social and/or environmental problems. The course features cross-training in creative design, business, and technology, with mentorship from successful business leaders. Each semester, top students pitch at Impact X Demo Day for over $10,000 in total prizes.
